Hospital staff scheduling software

Schedule a department's physicians, APPs and nurses. Build my month fills the open shifts, and Capillary won't let you save a shift that double-books someone, cuts into rest or lands on time off.

What a department gets

  • Next month's shifts filled

Build my month fills open shifts by role, rest, time off and each person's limits, then evens out the hard ones.

    How Build my month works
  • Mistakes caught as you build

A shift that breaks a rule won't save, and the message names the shift and the rule.

What gets checked when you save
  • A private draft until you publish

Only your schedulers see the draft. Clinicians see the last published version until you publish again.

    How publishing works
  • Trades checked before anyone agrees

Clinicians swap or give away shifts themselves. Capillary rules out anything that double-books them or cuts into rest.

    How trades work
  • Cover for a sick call

Capillary lists who can cover, with backup at the top, and the scheduler picks.

    How sick calls work
  • Two departments, one calendar

Work in two departments on one account, with double-booking and rest checked across both.

    How shared staff work

Common questions

Can one department start on its own?
Yes. A department can create an account and run its schedule without the rest of the hospital. The first 3 months are free, with no setup fee.
Does the schedule hold patient data?
No. The schedule holds staff names, email addresses and roles. It does not ask for patient information.
Who can be on the schedule?
Physicians, APPs and RNs, each in their own staff group. CRNAs, LPNs, surgical techs, medical assistants and front desk staff are not on the schedule.
Can we bring in the schedule we use now?
Yes. Next month's draft reads your group's calendar link or file and fills the coming month from your usual week. A roster imports from a CSV file.
Does it connect to payroll?
No. A published month exports as a CSV file with one row per shift.
